March is here, and Spring is just around the corner. It's a time of change and renewal. The animals that have been hibernating are waking up, and birds will soon be flying north for warmer weather. Flowers are already blooming in many places. It's a good time for us, as practitioners, to focus on renewal as well. Unless you're on the cusp of retirement, there's a lot to be gained by revitalizing your practice...doing some Spring cleaning, coming up with some new offerings for your menu of services, and letting go of what no longer serves you, both personally and professionally.

It may be as simple as making some changes in your work schedule. There's always a demand for massage therapy in the evenings, for example. If your hours are 9 to 5, you're cutting out a lot of potential clients who can't take off work to get a massage. Adding on one or two evenings a week can make a big difference in your bottom line. You could take your slowest days of the week, come in later in the day, and stay later. Some practitioners work weekends for the same reason, so they can accommodate people who work through the week. If you already have all the business you need, there's no need to change your current schedule, but if you could use more clients, that's a consideration. On the other hand, if you're overworked, you need to schedule some "me" time. Don't let clients talk you into working on your only day off or staying later than your intended work hours. If you're working for someone else, be clear about your scheduling expectations at the job interview. It may be your priority to attend your child's ballgames, and that's understandable. It's necessary to make your boundaries clear at the outset.

Clean and clear! If you have figured out you don't really enjoy doing hot stone massage and haven't used your hot stones in years, sell them to someone who'd like to have them. Donate your old, tired sheets to an animal shelter and invest in new ones. It may be time to put a fresh coat of paint on the office or just replace the worn welcome mat at the front door. Put some fresh flowers on the front desk. Little things mean a lot!

If you haven't changed up your menu of services in a while, consider adding Occlusion Strapping with CryoDerm to the mix. It's especially effective at helping people with swelling and inflammation of the extremities. Click here to see CryoDerm Educator James Waslaski performing the procedure.

If you aren't already retailing products in your practice, consider doing so. People especially purchase items that are used during their treatment and that they can feel the benefits of. CryoDerm offers wholesale pricing with no required minimums to all licensed healthcare providers. Our products are used and recommended by thousands of massage therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers, and physicians. If you practice sports massage, it's a no-brainer to offer CryoDerm. Athletes are some of our best customers. Any time you order a case of CryoDerm, you'll receive 12 packets of product to share with clients.

Give us a call at 954-978-9290 to set up your wholesale account. We wish you a happy March!
